Dates for art workshop holidays in 2006

Our next painting holidays will run from the 4 - 9th September, 18 -
23rd September 2006. Consisting of 5 nights accommodation at an exclusive
private game lodge near Hoedspruit in the Greater
Kruger Park area.
Your safari art holiday will comprise the following:
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive/meet at Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport Airport for transfer to nearby
private game lodge. On arrival, and after settling into your rooms, we
will meet for welcome reception and introduction to the lodge and game
guides. This will be followed by an evening game drive and authentic African
dinner.
Day 2
Dawn game drive followed by breakfast. After breakfast we'll head off
on a morning game walk to our location for a sketching/painting session
in the bush. Return to the lodge for lunch followed by some discussion
on representing the unique colours and light of the African bush.
Afternoon tea followed by game drive and chance to practice sketching
wildlife.
Return for dinner and making the most of the breathtaking African sunsets!
Day 3
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. We then head off for another
scenic spot in the reserve to sketch and paint. Return to the lodge for
lunch followed by art sessions at the lodge.
Afternoon tea followed by game drive and chance to practice sketching
wildlife and make the most of the breathtaking African sunsets!
Return for dinner.
Day 4
Early start for excursion into the Kruger National Park to see more of
the 'Big Five'. Return for lunch followed by painting sessions at the
lodge.
Dinner and an evening game drive and more sketching. Back to the lodge
for a night cap and discuss each others work.
Day 5
Dawn game drive and sketching followed by a delicious bush breakfast!
Morning sketching around the lake and waterholes.
Afternoon game walk and another opportunity to paint the bush up close.
Farewell evening banquet and the chance to exhibit and discuss your works.
Day 6
Morning game drive or walk followed by breakfast. Unfortunately, it's
time to pack up and say final goodbyes.
